Jessica Matala – Clinical Social Worker/Therapist, MSW, LGSW
Everyone has a story and I want to help each person live the story they prefer. I have a sincere desire to help people so they feel heard and understood. I help individuals work through difficult issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, bullying, behavioral issues, and overall life satisfaction. A warm and accepting environment is used to build a strong and trusting relationship with each client. As a therapist, my goal is to offer a multi-dimensional approach that focuses on each client’s strengths and personal goals to obtain a healthy balance in their life.
I have experience working with a variety of issues and specialize in child mental health. I assist children and parents in learning how to express/interpret feelings in a secure and safe environment, which will enable your child to improve behaviors and flourish in life and relationships. I have specialized training in research-supported treatments including: Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Parent Child Interaction, SMART Recovery, and Couples Therapy. Our practice offers evening hours to accommodate your busy schedule.
“Mental health matters. People matter. You matter. I can’t fight my battle alone, and you don’t have to either. Reach Out?”
